Steven Evans
Managing Director
Steven joined Ferretti International Ottoway (Australia) as Managing Director in April 2020.
Steven has extensive experience in General and Operations Management roles in various engineering and manufacturing industries. His senior leadership experience spans 26 years, gained in Australia and South Africa.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering, a Post Graduate Management Diploma and the GLF leadership qualification. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; he served on numerous industry association boards and currently holds a non-executive director position of a not for profit organisation.
Steven is customer-focused, performance-driven and passionate about process optimization as well people development.
We provide Project Management services to the engineering and construction industries typically within the infrastructure, resources, and building sectors. With clients ranging from corporate and government organisations to private customers, our focus remains the same – completion on time, within budget and to the required performance specifications.
The Adelaide facility specialises in piping fabrication for the Oil and Gas and Water industries, the fabrication of pressure vessels, stacks and miscellaneous structural steels, including stainless steel, duplex and super duplex steels for the process and water industries.
The Adelaide workshop has a total of 3000 sq. metres of undercover area serviced by overhead gantry cranes. It has 5000 sq. metres of lay down and storage area. The facility has an extensive range of plant and equipment including plate cutting and rolling machinery including submerged arc welding equipment for heavy walled vessels.
The FI workshop enables concurrent fabrication of different materials such as carbon and stainless steel without risk of contamination.
FI has a diverse and experienced workforce of skilled trades personnel and maintains a strong emphasis on skills development with part of our fabrication facility used for in house welder training and our trades apprenticeship training.
